Let there be light

So this morning we recieved our shipmment of lights. We almost have all of the scaff up, and the platforms for seating are bolted together. We need to finish putting down the stage floor, and we might get to paint it, and then we will be ready to hang curtains and go! It has really been amazing to see the transformation of this church into a theatre. And it is cold here. Very, very, cold.

Last night we rented the cinema room in a great little pub called the Brass Monkey. It is located just down Drummond street. Name comes from the old saying (or phrase) it's cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey in here (which it is) but I think it refers to the Beastie Boys song. Because they play the Bestie Boys. And this great little song at closing. Get the F*** out of my bar. we watched "Shawn of the Dead" and "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotlessmind".

maybe I will come up with more to write later.

My father says he learned to respect the Scotts and their kilts after spending a summer in Scotland.

What are the temps like? I've been in shock all week, we went from highs of 100 down here to this week being about 78.
